Jeanne Lang Jones, “Zillow leases another floor in Seattle’s Russell building“:
Fast-growing online real estate services company Zillow is moving into additional office space on the 32nd floor of the Russell Investments Center in downtown Seattle. The company already occupies floors 29 through 31.
The company has 30 open positions in Seattle listed on its website for software engineers, sales staff and business analysts.
A staircase is being built to connect the new office space to the rest of Zillow’s headquarters. The expansion will give the company, which provides residential listings and related services online, another 22,000 square feet of space, Zillow executives said. The addition gives Zillow approximately 88,000 square feet in the building.
Russell Investments Center was the former headquarters for Washington Mutual, which was shut down by banking regulators in 2008. The property has changed hands twice since then, and is currently owned by CommonWealth Partners of Los Angeles.
